South Korea’s Air Premia has added its sixth Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to its fleet, marking the airline’s first expansion in over 18 months, with plans to introduce three additional aircraft in 2025.

As South Korea’s only hybrid carrier, Air Premia focuses on providing premium services with essential amenities at competitive prices, featuring a 344-seat configuration in its latest Dreamliner.

The airline plans to upgrade its economy seating pitch from 31 inches to 33 inches and will commence commercial operations of the new aircraft in January 2025 on routes to the Americas, including Seoul to New York.

Air Premia’s network expansion includes new routes to Da Nang and Hong Kong in early 2025, with a goal of operating nine Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners by the end of the year to enhance customer convenience and profitability.
