Salt Lake City start-up Breeze Airways plans to launch transatlantic flights to destinations such as Ireland and the Europe by autumn 2025, while also expanding operations to the West Coast and Hawai’i.

Breeze discussions t=on direct flights were thwarted by the passenger cap at Dublin airport.

The airline is pursuing ETOPS certification for its A220-300 fleet, which is critical for operating flights to Europe and Hawai’i.

Breeze Airways is seeking flag carrier status from the U.S. FAA to secure international traffic rights, with updates expected in early 2025.

With a current fleet of 48 aircraft, the airline is focused on consistent growth in its existing domestic markets while exploring potential international routes.
