Melbourne Airport is to expand its international terminal to accommodate growing passenger numbers and alleviate current congestion issues.
The plans are for more check-in and baggage facilities, as well as additional gates to meet the rising demand from foreign airlines.
A new elevated road network is expected to facilitate this expansion, alongside a significant upgrade to the airport’s baggage handling system.
