Lufthansa Group has allocated its entire order of forty Boeing B737-8 aircraft to Eurowings, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2027.
By 2032, all 40 aircraft will be in service with Eurowings, marking their first operation of Boeing aircraft since 2016.
The new B737-8s will enable Eurowings to retire its remaining thirty-two A319-100s and some older A320-200s, improving efficiency.
The B737-8 offers a capacity of 189 passengers and an extended range, making it ideal for Eurowings’ growing medium-haul destination offerings.
