SAS has unveiled a new crew uniform collection designed for 9,000 employees, inspired by Scandinavian heritage and modern innovation, with influences from iconic Christian Dior and Calvin Klein designs.

The uniform range includes gender-inclusive neutral items and optional trainers, allowing for visible tattoos and piercings, which helps team members express their individuality.

The rollout of the new uniforms begins this month, transitioning over the next year, during which existing and new items will coexist, focusing on durability and sustainability through reused and upcycled materials.

The announcement by Kristine Mayer, SAS design director, reflects the airline’s commitment to modernity and tradition as it continues its restructuring and its new membership in the SkyTeam alliance, with additional plans for Starlink-powered Wi-Fi expected by late 2025.
