The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is lobbying the US government regarding regulatory decisions from the Department of Transportation (DOT).
A filing by IATA on February 11 addressed to Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy and congratulating him on his new role also expressed concerns over regulations established during both the Barack Obama and Joe Biden administrations.
The organisation referred to the Donald Trump administration’s support for the airline industry’s free market principles as a contrast to current regulatory conditions.
