United States marshals seized the Falcon 2000EX, YV3360, marked as a PDVSA asset, at Santo Domingo La Isabela airport.
The 21.2-year-old aircraft had been parked in the Dominican Republic since March 2024 and is pending potential repatriation to the US.
The US government claims the aircraft was utilised by high-ranking officials of Nicolás Maduro’s government, including Vice President Delcy Rodríguez.
The Venezuelan government accused the US of theft regarding the seizure, insisting on the unlawful confiscation of its asset.
