Passengers and crew, totaling 178 individuals, successfully evacuated the aircraft without reported injuries. he aircraft was parked at gate C38 when the incident occurred.
The flight, designated as AAL1006, had arrived from Colorado Springs Airport (COS) before diverting to Denver.
Video footage showed smoke and flames, with the blaze quickly managed after it broke out.
