
Phase 1 of Kerry Airport’s terminal expansion has been completed, introducing a new arrivals hall with a Garda Immigration area and baggage collection belt.
Following a surge in passenger numbers since 2022, the airport is undergoing redevelopment aimed at enhancing the travel experience for all visitors.
Phase 2 of the expansion is currently underway, featuring a new departures hall that will be nearly three times larger than the existing space along with a bar, restaurant, and smoking area.
The completion of Phase 2 is projected for July, allowing for improved facilities to accommodate growing passenger traffic.
Kerry is served by two airlines operating eleven routes, seven from Ryanair, Dublin, Hahn, Luton, Manchester and Stansted year round and Alicante and Faro seasonal, and four from Chalair Aviation, Brest, Caen, Brive (begins 29 June 2025), Pau, all seasonal. The airport processed 417,409 passengers in 2024, the third highest in history after 2008 and 2023.
