A new shuttle bus service, the Burren and Cliffs Explorer, connects towns and attractions across North and West Clare. The service operates from May 1 to August 31, with possible extensions to September, linking destinations like Doolin, Lahinch, and Kilfenora.

Key attractions served include the Cliffs of Moher Experience and Burren National Park, with plenty of free parking available at major hubs.

Community input was sought during public consultation events to shape the service according to local needs, ensuring a tailored experience.

The initiative aims to promote sustainable tourism while boosting local economies and supporting biodiversity efforts.

Christopher O’Sullivan TD shared, “I am delighted to support this collaboration between the NPWS and Clare County Council, which supports the Department’s vision of developing Corofin as a gateway to the Burren National Park.”
