Since the planning restrictions on Dublin Airport passenger numbers do not have to be reinforced in winter, the Irish Aviation Authority is to permit 41 extra daily slots between October 2025 and March 2026.

This decision follows the High Court’s extension of the stay on the passenger cap at Dublin Airport.

The additional slots aim to increase capacity and improve airport operations during winter months.

The IAA’s move reflects ongoing adjustments within air traffic management to accommodate rising passenger demands.

Dublin Airport continues to develop its infrastructure in response to evolving aviation regulations.
