The ALIA CX-300 all-electric aircraft from Beta Technologies arrived in Ireland via cargo ship at the Port of Foynes over the weekend.

After arrival, the aircraft was transported to Shannon Airport for local flights, including trips to the Aran Islands.

Meetings with Irish government leaders took place during the visit, supported by Future Mobility Campus Ireland.

The European sales tour will include stops in England, France, and will participate in the Paris Airshow in June, before arriving in Norway in late summer to begin operational trials for the launch customer.

Designed for regional travel, the CX-300 aims for quick charging under an hour and plans to obtain FAA Certification by the end of the year.

AAM, and our aircraft specifically, is practically purpose-built for the distributed geography and weather conditions of Ireland and the rest of Europe. With its spirit of innovation and growing leadership in future transportation solutions, we see Ireland as a strategic partner and gateway to the broader European aviation market.”
