United Airlines and JetBlue have initiated their ‘Blue Sky’ agreement, which includes reciprocal loyalty programme benefits.
MileagePlus members will earn and redeem miles on most JetBlue flights, while TrueBlue members will benefit from United’s expansive network.
Eligible members will enjoy priority boarding and access to preferred seating options on the partner airline’s flights.
Flight availability between the two airlines will be offered on each other’s websites and apps as part of the interline agreement.
JetBlue is set to provide United access to slots at New York JFK for up to seven daily round-trip flights beginning in 2027.
United CEO Scott Kirby shared: “Blue Sky reflects our airlines’ shared focus on innovation and the customer experience. We’re always looking for ways to give our MileagePlus members even more value and benefits. Plus, our employees are really excited about United’s return to JFK for the longer-term.”
