The Shannon Airport Group has submitted a proposal to the Government’s review of the National Development Plan, urging discussions on rail links to Shannon Airport.
The proposal calls for decisive action to address critical infrastructure deficits in the Southern Region to promote balanced regional development.
The Group advocates for inclusion in the Regional Airports Programme for 2026–2030 to enable capital investment in Shannon Airport.
