Iberia has launched new dynamic boarding passes that automatically update with operational changes and flight information.
Customers previously received static boarding passes but can now enjoy real-time updates with the new technology.
Notifications will inform customers of any changes, such as boarding gate, seat number, or cabin upgrades.
The Iberia app is available for both Apple and Android phones to access these features.
Iberia also announced plans for a new Premium Lounge in Madrid-Barajas Airport’s T4 as part of its five-year growth plan.
“Iberia says it will continue to send the same updates by email too: “Customers will receive a push notification each time a change is made. Previously, Iberia customers received a static electronic boarding pass or a printed boarding pass from the check-in counter.”
