Mary Considine, CEO of Shannon Airport Group, was awarded the 2025 Clare Person of the Year by Clare Association Dublin.
The annual awards dinner will take place at the Falls Hotel in Ennistymon on Saturday, September 6.
Under Ms Considine’s leadership, Shannon Airport saw a 7pc increase in passenger numbers in 2024, reaching 2.1 million.
Professor Michael Kerin will receive the Clare Hall of Fame Award for his contributions to breast cancer research over 40 years.
Ms Considine, a qualified accountant, has extensive experience in the aviation sector, having held senior roles since 2012.
