Shannon Airport announced a new direct service to Frankfurt starting on April 4, 2026, operated by Discover Airlines. The service will run twice weekly on Saturdays and Thursdays, adding over 16,700 seats to Shannon’s summer schedule.
Discover Airlines is Lufthansa Group’s leisure-focused airline and the service wil be focus don the inbound German market,
Mary Considine shared, “Having direct access to Frankfurt opens up incredible opportunities for both connectivity and growth. Germany is a hugely important market for us, and with this new direct route, inbound visitors have an easier path to the beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way.”
