Riyadh Air has secured slots and has the capacity to begin daily flights to London Heathrow from October 26, 2025, using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.

The airline has secured slots at Heathrow through remedy slots, which helps avoid the high costs typically associated with securing such access.

This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, aiming to establish Riyadh as a global aviation hub amid competition. The ACL filing indicates that Riyadh Air plans to operate flights with a capacity of 288 seats per aircraft.

There is uncertainty regarding whether this will be the first commercial service for Riyadh Air or if flights to other destinations will commence prior to this date.
