Aer Lingus says it is on target to accept EU national identity cards and Irish passport cards for online check-in by the end of 2025.

Airport check-in currently supports Irish passport cards at the without extra charges but, unlike Ryanair, the facility is not available online.

Aer Lingus is undergoing a major refresh of its mobile app to enhance the digital travel experience.
