Belfast airport passenger numbers down 1.4pc in June

Belfast two-airport passenger numbers for June were slightly down on 2024 and broadly similar to pre-pandemic figures. 

The combined total for Belfast International and Belfast City airports in June was 841,270, down 1.4pc on last year and 0.2pc on pre-pandemic. 

Figures for the first six months of June 2025 for Belfast’s two airports are marginally down by 0.8pc on 2024 and 3.2pc form pre-pandemic.

Belfast International airport was down 0.3pc on june 2024 and up 4.6pc on pre-pandemic. Belfast City airport passenger numbers were down 4.0pc in June and down 12.9pc on pre-pandemic.

In May, Belfast international passenger numbers were down by 5pc, Belfast City by 6pc and Derry up by 23pc to 18,987.

In April, a month boosted by a later Easter than 2024, Belfast international was slightly down by 1pc, Belfast City was up by 2pc and Derry airport up by 19pc.
