Emirates is extending its premium economy offering to Sydney and three other cities in October, allowing Dublin passengers to book PE seats to Australia.

The airline aims to reach 2m million premium economy seats by the end of the year. A four-class A380 will service flights between Dubai and Amman starting 26 October 2025.

Emirates is introducing retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft on routes to Mumbai and Bahrain. The airline recently announced it is enforcing a ban on power banks during flights for safety reasons.

A written statement from Emirates shared, “The aircraft deployment may be advanced if released earlier from refurbishment. This is part of the airline’s multi-billion dollar retrofit programme.”
