
Southwest Airlines says that it will require plus-size passengers to purchase an extra seat if they do not fit within the armrests.

The airline says that if passengers do not buy an extra seat in advance, they must purchase one at the airport. Refunds for extra seating will still be possible but will depend on flight availability.
