
IATA global demand report for July 2025 shows total demand in July 2025 rose by 4.0pc compared to the previous year.
European carriers achieved a 4.0pc increase in demand with a load factor of 87.3pc. Capacity increased 4.2pc year-on-year.
The Asia-Pacific region experienced an 8.7pc year-on-year demand increase and a capacity rise of 9.0pc. Domestic capacity in Brazil recorded an impressive 9.4pc increase year-on-year.
International demand strengthened from 3.9pc in June to 5.3pc in July due to growth across all regions.
Willie Walsh shared, “It’s been a good northern summer season for airlines. That trend appears across all regions and is particularly evident for international travel. Airlines are positioned to take advantage of this market momentum into the coming months.”
