Air traffic restrictions were introduced in eastern Poland under the EP R129 restricted zone, effective from 10pm (11pm Irish time) until 9 December.
The restrictions, requested by the Operational Command of the Armed Forces, apply to the eastern part of Poland.
Flights are banned in the restricted zone from sunrise to sunset, except for manned aircraft with flight plans, transponders, and two-way communication with air authorities.
The Polish Air Navigation Agency revealed these measures in a statement published late yesterday. The restrictions aim to regulate airspace activity in response to operational requirements.
Polish Air Navigation Agency shared: “At the request of the Operational Command of the Branches of the Armed Forces … air traffic restrictions will be introduced in the eastern part of Poland in the form of the restricted zone EP R129.”
