Pittsburgh International Airport’s new €1.03bn Terminal Modernisation Project will open with a gala on 3 October 2025, featuring performances by Jeff Goldblum and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. A public trial to test the terminal’s systems is scheduled for 20 September 2025.
A Community Open House on 11 October 2025 will allow over 10,000 people to explore the new terminal. The terminal improves passenger experience with streamlined security, shorter baggage wait times, enhanced concessions, and increased parking.
The design reflects Pittsburgh’s natural beauty and hardworking spirit, serving as a global gateway to the region.
Jeff Goldblum shared: “I’m more than thrilled and delighted to be part of this glorious event back in my beloved hometown.”
Christina Cassotis CEO of Pittsburgh International Airport shared: “The opening of Pittsburgh’s new terminal is an opportunity for this region to showcase its best assets on a global stage across all business sectors.”
