Airbus SE is targeting the delivery of 820 commercial aircraft in 2025, a 7pc increase from 2024. The company has delivered 427 aircraft year-to-date, requiring approximately 98 monthly deliveries to meet its goal.
Chief Executive Officer Guillaume Faury acknowledged ongoing supply chain challenges, particularly with engine availability and geopolitical tensions. Airbus plans to stabilise A330 production at four aircraft per month, aiming for five by 2029.
A potential downward revision to 780-800 deliveries will be enforced if issues with engine suppliers persist.
Guillaume Faury shared, “while engines represent the most pressing bottleneck, the company remains on track to meet the goal, production is progressing in line with plans. September’s delivery figures are crucial in determining the year’s outcome.”
