Pre-poll indications have been publicised indicating Aer Lingus cabin crew will reject a 4pc pay increase agreed by unions and management, with a ballot set for October 2025.
A SIPTU section committee declined to recommend the deal, citing open-ended work practice changes like relinquishing marshalling tasks. Fórsa and Unite approved the pay rise, following a 12.25pc increase, aiming to align with a 17.5pc pilot deal from 2024.
The ballot begins next week and concludes on 14 October 2025.The union disputes the airline’s claim that the pilot deal was a trade-off for productivity.
