Waterford councillors are to be updated on the €30m privately funded proposal to restore international flights at Waterford Airport at a meeting on Tuesday. The plan includes extending and widening the runway to meet international standards.
Under the proposal Waterford Airport is set to become a fully operational aviation hub. The initiative is entirely privately funded, requiring no public investment.
