AFG Aviation Ireland, a subsidiary of Aircraft Finance Germany, has acquired two General Electric CF6-80E1A4/B engines from GE Aviation Materials.

The engines, delivered to SAMI Airbus for Aircraft and Maintenance Services, underwent full performance restoration at GE Evergreen Engine Services in Taiwan.

The transaction supports AFG’s role in providing high-standard operational assets to customers in the global aviation maintenance market.

AFG, based in Dublin, strengthens Ireland’s position as a hub for aviation finance and leasing, managing assets for airlines and maintenance providers worldwide.

The deal aligns with GE Aerospace’s strategy to supply restored engines, ensuring reliability for Airbus aircraft operated by SAMI’s clients.
