‘B777X delivery delay to 2027 ‘has cost Boeing €4.56bn’

Boeing has officially postponed the first delivery of the 777X jet programme to 2027. Boeing recorded a nearly €4.56bn charge due to the delays.

Total charges related to the 777X programme reached over €13.68bn. The US Federal Aviation Administration approved an increase in 737 MAX production to 42 aircraft per month.
