Shannon Airport boarding gates for European flights are to get a €3m extension and the airport has launched Ireland’s first solar farm located directly on airfield property.
The €6.6m project combined renewable energy generation with infrastructure upgrades. Minister Darragh O’Brien officially opened both developments.
