Disorderly passenger Andrii Volovyk has appeared in court accused of drunken behaviour at Dublin Airport. Gardaí removed Volovyk from a flight before departure.
Volovyk had mixed alcohol with three painkillers for an abscess. The court heard Volovyk described the act as a stupid mistake. Volovyk faced charges under the Air Navigation and Transport Act.
His defence solicitor shared “He made a stupid mistake when he drank despite being on three different painkillers for an abscess.”
