Easyjet has added 4.6m seats for routes to and from Spain ahead of the winter season ending March 2026. The low-cost carrier launched a promotional campaign valid until 16 December 2025 for travel from 17 December 2025.
Connections included flights from Spanish airports to cities such as London, Geneva, Lisbon and Milan. The airline aimed to capture demand during the festive period and early 2026. Operators noted increased bookings for ski destinations and city breaks.
Easyjet operated multiple bases in Spain including Barcelona, Madrid and Palma de Mallorca. Fares started from low prices to encourage advance purchases. The carrier competes with Ryanair and Vueling on many of these routes and hopes to capitalize on a reduction of capacity by Ryanair. The airline reports demand has risen for winter sun escapes to the Canary Islands and Balearics.
