Boeing opens first ever Dublin Office

Boeing has opened new hub at Dublin Airport Central, its first Irish office serving a country that ranks second in its order book after USA.

Minister Darragh O’Brien officiated at a ceremony. The office will unite over 100 employees for engineering and support and support Irish supply chain and lessors. The opening follows the acquisition by Airbus of Spirit AeroSystems in Belfast.

Darragh O’Brien TD, Minister for Transport shared “I am delighted to mark the opening of the new Boeing Ireland hub at Dublin Airport. In Ireland, we have a proud history of innovation in aviation, and Boeing has played a central role in the development of the Irish aviation industry. Today’s event not only illustrates the continued strong growth of the Irish aviation industry but also clearly demonstrates Boeing’s continued commitment to investing in the future of Irish aviation. The strong connection between Ireland and Boeing highlights the enduring importance of the transatlantic trading relationship, which supports our economy and people, helping to shape the future of aviation internationally.”
