Gemma Hiney of Centre Travel received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Louth Business Awards in Carrickdale Hotel.
The award, sponsored by Protection & Prosperity Financial Services, recognises Hiney’s contributions since the 1970s. Hiney and her late husband Eamonn built Market Fresh shops and Centre Travel, crediting dedicated staff.
Dundalk Stadium won the Visit Louth Tourism Experience award, sponsored by The Argus.
The event was organised by Dundalk Chamber of Commerce, celebrating local business achievements.
Gemma Hiney shared: “They would never have been able to do any of it without their dedicated and committed staff over the years.”
