Gormley’s Gallery in Dublin is to host a Contemporary Icons exhibition from January 15 to February 2.
The exhibition will showcase over 40 artworks by artists like Warhol, Banksy, and Hirst and featured 10 Andy Warhol works including Mick Jagger (€139,500) and Orangutan from his Endangered Species (€220000). The event offers free entry to public and collectors.
James Gormley shared “Bringing together this calibre of international names under one roof is exceptionally rare in Ireland. Contemporary Icons gives visitors the chance to engage with works that have shaped the visual culture of the last century, and with artists who remain at the forefront of contemporary art today. Prints also offer a more accessible price point for both seasoned and new collectors who want to start investing in art, and all of the artists exhibiting are established blue-chip artists.”
