Twinkle Town, a Christmas event in Dublin’s Smithfield Square, will feature a market, ice rink, ferris wheel, and Santa Panto from 28 November 2025 to 4 January 2026.
Organised by Life Events Ltd, the event includes a spiegel tent hosting cultural performances showcasing local Irish talent.
The ice rink costs €18 (early-bird rate) and Santa Panto €5, with free access to the market, fairground, and spiegel tent. Dublin City Council contributes €418,000 to make Smithfield a key festive tourism destination for families and younger groups.
Public transport, including the Luas red line’s Smithfield stop, is recommended due to limited parking.
DCC shared in a written statement: “DCC would like the Smithfield area to be designated as a prime destination for festive season tourism which will ultimately drive attendance throughout the holiday season.”
