Emirates opened its €7.4m Centre of Hospitality Excellence in Dubai on 10 October 2025, training 25,000 cabin crew in luxury hospitality.
The facility includes a restaurant, lounge, and eight classrooms, with crew experiencing fine dining to enhance service skills. The curriculum, partnered with Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, focuses on service excellence and wine education via the L’art du Vin programme.
Emirates’ Skywards loyalty programme, marking 25 years, now has 37m members. A 25-day giveaway, running until 20 October, offers 25m miles, upgrades, and lounge access. A silver livery aircraft celebrates the milestone, with Skywards redeeming 800 rewards daily.
Thomas Ney shared: “We have invested in the highest levels of luxury hospitality training for our cabin crew.”
Nejib Ben Khedher shared: “Emirates Skywards is a true success story – one that was born in Dubai and has now become one of the most recognised and loved loyalty programmes in the world.”
