Ryan’s Pub has opened in Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport. The Wright Group runs the venue which serves pints of Guinness alongside toasties and smoked salmon plates.
Passengers access the pub airside where staff provide service in nooks with historic imagery and memorabilia. Musicians receive encouragement to perform during visits. The establishment draws inspiration from Mary Ryan and her family connections to the airport area in past decades, and the iconic photograph of her hanging her washing out with a Boeing 747 in the background.
Ryan’s Pub is positioned at the heart of Terminal 2 departures with its long bar salvaged from a rural pub. The menu includes traditional items that complement drinks. The pub forms part of ongoing food and beverage enhancements at the airport throughout 2025.
Dublin Airport continues to roll out of new outlets across both terminals. Ryan’s Pub contributes to choices for passengers departing from Terminal 2. The venue maintains regular hours aligned with flight schedules.
Wright group shared: The name takes inspiration from Mary Ryan and the fantastic photograph of her, hanging out her washing in the shadow of an Aer Lingus Jumbo jet in the 1970’s. Such close proximity to the airport meant that The Ryan family, including children, grandchildren and close relatives, all found work in the airport over the years. Even to this day, a Ryan is never far from sight!
