The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) announced on 17 December 2025 that it is transforming the Sakon Nakhon Christmas Star Parade into a signature international festival.
This cultural event, known for its spectacular star-shaped lanterns and parades, aims to attract global visitors by promoting it as a unique holiday spectacle blending Thai traditions with Christmas celebrations.
