The third day of the World Aviation Festival in Lisbon on 10 October 2025 focused on airports and passenger experience. Steven Greenway, CEO of flyadeal, discussed the airline’s 42pc capacity growth and Syrian airspace approvals, which will reduce flight times. 

Carolina Martinoli, CEO of Vueling, revealed a fleet renewal with 50 Boeing aircraft from 2026. The festival, hosting 600 speakers and 400 exhibitors, addressed distribution, AI, and low-cost carrier evolution, with AirAsia adopting API systems for market share growth.
