Woodenbridge Hotel and Lodge in Wicklow reports that it served 121,387 meals throughout 2025. Turkey and ham leads popular dishes with 6,028 portions, followed closely by fish and chips at 5,874. The top five dishes account for 23,212 orders combined.
During the year, 30,187 guests stayed at the establishment dating back to 1608, while sirloin steaks reach 4,086 servings and sirloin beef burgers totalled 3,768. Chocolate brownies complete the top five with 3,456 portions. Meals span across three venues, the bar, The Bistro, Redmond restaurant and The Smokehouse.
In addition, the hotel gained recognition as a finalist in the 2025 Gold Medal Awards for Best Three-Star Hotel and Ireland’s Best Family Run Hotel. Fresh fish arrives daily from Kilmore Quay for dishes, and grass-fed Irish Hereford beef features in steaks. Voting remains open until January 23.
