Thurles Sarsfields GAA Club has launched a new heritage walking trail in Thurles, County Tipperary, where the Association was founded o November 1 1884, to showcase the club’s history and local landmarks.
The self-guided route highlights key sites linked to the club’s foundation, famous players, and contributions to Gaelic games in the region. The trail is designed to attract both locals and visitors interested in sports heritage and Tipperary’s cultural past.
Information boards and a digital map are available to guide participants. The initiative aims to boost footfall in the town centre and promote year-round tourism.
