Keep Cork meeting takes place at Pairc ui Chaoimh

The Keep Cork Meeting 2026 expo, Ireland’s largest meeting and business events showcase, has taken place at Páirc Uí Chaoimh .

Hosted by the Cork Convention Bureau (the business events division of Visit Cork), this flagship annual event serves as a major networking platform for event planners, corporate bookers, and local venues to explore Cork’s potential as a world-class destination for conferences and business tourism. 

Over 40 exhibitors participated, including hotels, unique venues, transport providers, and activity specialists.

The morning included a complimentary breakfast buffet and dedicated Conference Ambassador Clinics showcasing financial and practical supports for hosting international conferences in the region.

Ocean Escapes and the Cork International Film Festival were named the joint winners of the Visit Cork Green Awards 2026 during the session.

The event saw record engagement with over 200 attendees, reflecting a strategy that has generated approximately €150 million for the local economy since 2017. 

Evelyn O’Sullivan, Manager of Cork Convention Bureau shared “Expanding the network of conference ambassadors remains central to securing future international events and sustaining long-term economic impact.”

John O’Halloran, President of University College Cork shared that conferences play a vital role in enhancing the reputation of Cork’s third-level institutions.

Seamus Heaney, head of Visit Cork shared “As Cork continues to build momentum, initiatives like Keep Cork Meeting and the Green Awards play a vital role in strengthening partnerships.”
