Airbus delivered 114 commercial aircraft in first quarter of 2026

Airbus has reported consolidated revenues of €12.7bn for the first quarter of 2026 and has delivered 114 commercial aircraft. The company has recorded an adjusted EBIT of €0.3bn while free cash flow before customer financing has stood at €-2.5bn. Guidance for the full year 2026 has remained unchanged.

Gross commercial aircraft orders reached 408 units with net orders of 398 aircraft after cancellations. The order backlog stood at 9,037 commercial aircraft at the end of March 2026. Airbus Helicopters registered net orders of 79 units and Airbus Defence and Space recorded order intake of €5.0bn. Revenues decreased by 7pc year-on-year to €12.7bn while Airbus commercial aircraft activities generated €8.4bn.

Consolidated EBIT adjusted totalled €300m. EBIT adjusted for commercial aircraft activities reached €81m. Airbus Helicopters achieved EBIT adjusted of €65m and Airbus Defence and Space recorded €130m. The company has maintained its production ramp-up plans for the A220, A320 Family, A330 and A350 programmes.

Guillaume Faury shared “The Q1 results reflect the lower level of commercial aircraft deliveries and a strong performance in our Defence and Space division.”
