French travel agents from Havas Voyages have been exploring Ireland this week as guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland. The professionals visited several sites to gain direct knowledge of the country’s tourism options. Their programme included stops at Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, a boat cruise from Doolin around the Cliffs of Moher, Killary Fjord, Killary Sheep Farm, Kylemore Abbey, Ahascragh Distillery, the Irish National Stud and Gardens, Trinity College, the Guinness Storehouse and Christ Church Cathedral.
The group followed a full itinerary that allowed them to experience key attractions in detail. Organisers arranged the visits to support future client recommendations from the French market. Direct air and sea access formed part of the information shared during the trip.
Ana Luis shared “We were delighted to invite this group of leading French travel agents to Ireland, to experience at first-hand our spectacular scenery and unique tourism attractions and experiences. Ireland has so much to offer French visitors, with direct air and sea access making it a popular holiday destination choice. Visits like this are extremely important to continue to build awareness of Ireland and our excellent tourism offering among key French travel trade partners.”
