Loveholidays has recorded a 16pc increase in last-minute summer holiday bookings. The data compares May 2026 with May 2025 for departures within 90 days. Irish holidaymakers continue to book familiar European sun destinations.
Bookings from Dublin favour Lanzarote, Tenerife and Costa Dorada. Travellers from Cork choose Costa del Sol and the Algarve while those from Shannon select Costa Dorada and Lanzarote. loveholidays listed package deals from €409 per person.
