Yes Insurance has launched an exclusive Car Hire Excess Insurance add-on for travel insurance policies available only through Irish travel agents. The product protects customers against high excess charges for damage, theft or loss of rental vehicles abroad.
Travel agents can add the cover to policies before customers travel, often at a lower cost than options at car hire desks. Car hire excess charges frequently reach thousands of euro. The initiative supports agents by providing additional value and revenue opportunities alongside holiday bookings.
