The Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) Conference 2026 is taking place on 2 October 2026 at Celler de Vila-seca, with guests staying at Blaumar Hotel in Salou, Spain. The conference has adapted the theme “Innovate. Transform. Adapt. Accelerate.” Delegates will commence travel on Wednesday and return on Sunday.
The event will be moderated by Travel Extra’s Eoghan Corry and hosts speakers includie Ciara Clarke from Red C, Bhav Taylor from TProfile, Vincent Donnelly, Yvonne Cronin, Caroline Bremner and Mayor of Vila-seca Pere Segura Xatruch. The conference programme includes sessions on the traveller of tomorrow, technology in the travel business, crisis management and future-proofing travel.
The conference programme runs from 09:15 to 17:30 and covers topics including industry trends, AI in travel, career reinvention and business acquisition. Ciara Clarke from Red C presents research on Irish travel behaviour combining Dublin Airport insights with ITAA commissioned consumer research. Bhav Taylor from TProfile leads a presentation on how technology is changing the travel business. A panel moderated by Eoghan Corry discusses crisis management in action with insights from John Telford, Anne Dolan, Maria Gildea, Eoin Bennis, Claire Doherty and Paul Hackett. Caroline Bremner presents on future-proofing travel, covering megatrends including premiumisation, experience-seeking and authenticity.
The conference takes place at Celler de Vila-seca, a Noucentista-style former wine cooperative built in 1919 by architect Pere Domènech i Roura, now restored as a cultural and wine museum space. El Castell de Vila-seca, a neomedieval castle featuring a 12th-century tower, sits adjacent to the Celler and forms a combined cultural and architectural hub.
The Blaumar Hotel in Salou opened in 1987 as the founding property of Grupo Blaumar and completed major modernisations in 2020 and will host the delegates.
