Scylla AG has appointed Robbert Verbeek as its new chief executive officer. Verbeek previously served as chief financial officer since March 2017 and takes over from Arno Reitsma as part of a wider leadership transition. Stefan De Schepper assumes the role of chief financial officer from 1 July while he retains his position at VIVA Cruises.

Arno Reitsma and his brother Robert step back from day-to-day operations to focus on strategic development and international expansion. The company operates a fleet of 47 river cruise vessels across major European waterways. Scylla supplies ships to leading tour operators and runs its own brand VIVA Cruises.
